Are We Our Mothers’ Sons?

There’s not a force more powerful than amother’s love, a gift they are given by thepowers above.

A love travelling faster than the speedof sound, providing security when they’renot around.

A love warm with comfort that keeps usalive, giving us meaning as westruggle and strive.

Black, white and gray graphic illustration of a woman in profile with her hair up and a hoop earring, cradling two sleeping babies in a sling.

A love shining so bright from the furthesttower — we all need such light during ourdarkest hour.

We must harness her love and allow it toheal — but it takes conviction and courage toalign with her will.

They are always our mothers, but are we alwaystrue sons? Only when thathappens will the job be well done.
