For My Alexandria

Since the day that I first held youMy love for you spontaneously grewYou are my sun, when my clouds are grey and blue. When I think of you, my heart aches because I miss you.You are a special part of me,For without you, my life is truly incomplete. So many rollercoasters, twists and turns—Oh, how I miss you Alex, oh how I yearn.Oh, how I miss you, no words can explainYou must know that you are truly loved.

Soft blue-green textured illustration of a dark heart on the ground tethered by a thin string to a floating pink heart-shaped balloon.
